Il Corso VMware vSphere with Tanzu: Deploy, Configure, Manage [V8] è una formazione che si concentra sulla gestione di VMware vSphere® con VMware Tanzu® in un ambiente VMware vSphere® 8. Questo corso è ideale per i partecipanti che desiderano approfondire le loro conoscenze sulla piattaforma vSphere e sul suo uso con VMware Tanzu, un’importante soluzione per la gestione e l’orchestrazione di container e servizi cloud. Durante il corso, i partecipanti esplorano come vSphere con Tanzu offre servizi per implementare e gestire macchine virtuali, vSphere Pods, Supervisor Services e cluster VMware Tanzu® Kubernetes Grid™. Verranno trattate tematiche come l’architettura di vSphere con Tanzu, l’integrazione con VMware NSX® e il VMware vSphere® Distributed Switch™, oltre alle soluzioni di bilanciamento del carico supportate da vSphere con Tanzu. I partecipanti impareranno anche sui componenti di storage di vSphere con Tanzu, oltre a sviluppare competenze pratiche nella gestione dei Supervisors, nella configurazione di servizi come Contour, ExternalDNS e Harbor. Inoltre, il corso tratta l’implementazione e la gestione di cluster di lavoro Tanzu Kubernetes Grid e l’uso del VM Service per gestire le macchine virtuali. Importante è anche la parte dedicata al deployment di applicazioni in ambienti vSphere con Tanzu, alla realizzazione di backup con Velero e al monitoraggio e alla risoluzione dei problemi dell’ambiente vSphere con Tanzu attraverso l’interfaccia utente vSphere e comandi CLI. Il Corso contribuisce alla preparazione dell’esame di Certificazione VMware Certified Specialist vSphere with Tanzu 2024.

• Descrivere l’integrazione di vSphere con Tanzu nel portfolio VMware Tanzu® e la relativa architettura.

Certificazione del corso

Esame Certificazione VMware Certified Specialist vSphere with Tanzu 2024; Questo esame testa la competenza dei candidati su diversi aspetti di VMware vSphere e Tanzu. L’esame include argomenti come il ruolo e lo scopo di un Supervisor Cluster, le caratteristiche delle VM del Control Plane e la gestione delle reti per il workload. Si valutano anche le conoscenze sui namespace vSphere, i pod vSphere, lo storage nativo del cloud, e l’integrazione con NSX. L’esame copre inoltre la gestione del Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Service, compresa l’abilitazione, il deployment e la scalabilità dei cluster TKC.
