Are the courses online, in-person, or both?
All our courses are delivered exclusively live with a real-time instructor. We do not offer prerecorded or on-demand content.
We’ve been providing live distance learning since 2008—well before the pandemic—and were one of the first Italian IT training providers to believe in true interactive online education.
In exceptional cases (e.g., companies, public institutions, or environments requiring on-site training such as military), we can arrange in-person sessions in our classrooms or on the client’s premises.
However, this is not our standard delivery method.
How is the practical/lab component managed?
Participants access lab environments directly through a browser, with no need to be physically near any equipment or infrastructure.
Labs are either managed by Vega Training or supplied by leading vendors (Cisco, AWS, Google, Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.).
Practicals are always conducted online, ensuring you can learn and practice from anywhere.
How long do I have access to the lab environments?
Access to lab environments is always active for the entire duration of the course.
Many labs are available 24/7, allowing practice whenever you want. However, for specialized setups—such as Cisco Data Center environments with enterprise-grade equipment—access may be limited to scheduled time slots, always covering all practical sessions.
In select cases, depending on the vendor and didactic decisions, labs may remain accessible after course completion for review or further practice.
Can I use my own equipment or company’s production environment for practical exercises?
No. During the course, you must use the official lab environments provided by Vega Training or the vendor.
These environments are secure, tested, and offer the intended learning experience.
Instructors do not access participants’ personal or company systems, whether for security, legal, or educational reasons. Work on your own systems falls under consultancy, not training.
Are there any prerequisites for enrolling in a course?
For introductory courses, no specific prior IT knowledge is required.
For intermediate or advanced courses, expected technical prerequisites are clearly stated in the course description.
We also offer the option of a pre-course assessment, so our team can guide you toward the course or certification that best fits your current skills and goals.
Are the courses taught in Italian or English?
Courses are taught in Italian, unless otherwise specified for international corporate clients. Such bilingual or English-delivered courses are always clearly marked in their descriptions.
However, as with all IT training, course materials and lab interfaces are in English—because English is the universal language in technology. Without basic written comprehension, it’s nearly impossible to succeed in IT professionally.
Is the course material available in English or Italian?
Most of the official course material, exercises, and lab platforms are in English, reflecting international standards.
Supplementary materials, such as summary slides or quick-reference guides, may be provided in Italian.
All certification exams are in English, so there’s no point in offering Italian-only materials for exam preparation.
Can I ask questions and interact during lessons?
Yes—absolutely. Courses are delivered live to promote real-time interaction with instructors and fellow participants.
Participants can ask questions, seek clarifications, and engage deeply.
Discussions among peers are encouraged and enrich the learning experience, all moderated by the instructor to maintain structure and focus.
What do I receive at the end of the course?
At the end of each course, you’ll receive a Vega Training certificate of attendance, confirming your participation and covered topics.
For courses tied to international certifications, the official vendor certificate is issued by the vendor only after passing the certification exam.
Is attendance mandatory?
Attendance isn’t formally mandatory but is strongly recommended.
Our methodology relies on real-time lessons, hands-on labs, and peer interaction—missing sessions means missing crucial content and engagement opportunities.
Is recording lessons allowed?
Recording is not contractually permitted, as all content is under Vega Training and instructor copyright.
Only with explicit consent from the instructor and all participants, support staff may record lessons for absentees. Technical failures during recording don’t entitle participants to complaints.
If even one person (instructor or participant) objects, recording will not proceed.
A participant present in class may request to record; if all parties agree, they may record via the platform.
Can I transfer to a later course edition or get a refund if I can’t attend?
No. Withdrawal from the course does not entitle you to a refund or transfer to another edition, as per contract. Some exceptional cases may apply—see contract for details.
If interruption is due to unforeseen issues, you can request access to recorded sessions (if available and authorized) from the support team.
Can I change the course schedule or times to suit my needs?
No. In a live, instructor-led format with multiple participants, schedules cannot be altered per individual requests.
Course dates and times are communicated at registration. If a lesson is canceled due to force majeure (e.g., instructor unavailability), it will be rescheduled without affecting total hours or standards.
What attendance options are available?
We offer two main attendance options:
- Intensive: Full-day sessions 9:00–17:00 on consecutive days (standard for vendor-aligned courses).
- Extensive: Evening classes (usually twice a week—Mon/Wed or Tue/Thu, or three times a week—Mon/Wed/Fri), 18:30–21:30.
For corporate clients, custom schedules can be arranged to fit the organization’s needs and instructor availability.
How much does the course cost?
Course prices vary by type, vendor, and technology.
Publicly scheduled courses range from €600 to €2,000, excluding certification costs (vendor-determined).
Contact our toll-free number or email to receive detailed pricing. For corporate training or blended models, custom quotes are provided after thorough needs analysis.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes.
Vega Training offers in-house installment plans, without using third-party financing, available to eligible individuals and professionals.
Corporate training payment terms are negotiated case by case, following Vega Training’s policies.
Are there discounts for multiple courses or group registrations?
Yes.
We offer discounts and special packages for multiple-course enrollments or group registrations from the same organization.
Specific rates depend on course volume and project scope—contact Sales for a personalized offer.
Is the certification exam included in the course fee?
No, unless explicitly stated. The exam fee is charged by the vendor and requires purchasing a voucher.
Vega Training does not add extra margin but provides assistance to buy the voucher and complete the exam process.
How and where is the certification exam conducted?
The exam is taken online, from your own remote workstation via vendor platforms like Pearson Vue or Kryterion.
Vega Training explains each step—from booking to test execution—and supports you throughout.
Do instructors prepare participants for the certification exam?
Yes.
Our instructors are vendor-authorized trainers, meaning they’re officially qualified to teach that content—not just certified technicians.
They lead practical exercises, simulations, real test questions, and exam strategies.
Additionally, proven exam preparation materials may be provided alongside standard course content.
What is the duration or validity of the certification?
Certification validity varies by vendor. Generally, most IT certifications remain valid for 3 years, but details may differ—check the specific certification guide.
For example, Cisco allows renewal through continuous education, enabling you to maintain certification by attending official courses instead of re-taking exams.
Are the courses and certifications recognized in Italy and Europe? Are they valued in the job market?
Absolutely.
All certifications in our catalog are globally recognized standards for IT competency. We only offer certifications that carry international market credibility.
Vendor certifications (Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft, AWS, Google, etc.) are valid in Italy, Europe, and across the IT industry, frequently requested by employers at all levels.
Can I take the certification exam directly through Vega Training?
No.
Exams must be taken via vendor-controlled platforms or official test centers.
Vega Training provides all necessary support for voucher purchase, booking, and test-taking—but we don’t function as an exam center.
Is the course material downloadable and accessible afterward?
Yes.
All Vega Training materials—slides, handouts, exercises—remain available to participants for the entire course duration.
Vega proprietary materials (slides, quick guides, summaries) are fully downloadable.
Vendor-supplied material is subject to vendor licensing: some may be downloaded, others may remain accessible online only.
Do you help me find a job after the course?
Vega Training is not a placement agency, but with over 20 years in the Italian IT training market, we’re regularly approached by leading companies seeking qualified candidates.
With a participant’s explicit consent, we facilitate direct introductions between participants and employers—no commercial services, only peer-to-peer referral.
Who are your instructors?
All instructors come from vendor-accredited professionals approved by Cisco, AWS, Microsoft, etc.
Course quality depends on the entire training framework, not just the instructor.
Every instructor is vetted to ensure superior technical and teaching skills—backed by Vega Training’s decades-long reputation and accreditation network.
How can I enroll in a course?
Enrollment happens by contacting one of our consultants directly (via phone or email).
Consultants explain course details and schedule a personal orientation session with a trainer, ensuring that enrollment is a fully informed decision.
Are you compliant with interprofessional or ministerial training funds?
Yes.
Vega Training holds ISO 9001 certification, including for remote training (achieved pre-COVID), and is an officially recognized regional vocational training provider.
We are fully compliant with national, ministerial, and European training fund guidelines, with documented experience in managing funded training.
We can provide all necessary documentation for your funding application.
